I just played at the Warehouse Cafe in Bethel, PA with an awesome cast of talent that participates. We’ve been doing a jam every wednesday night for the past 13 weeks or so, and there’s really starting to be a real sense of community developing as the return costumers are constantly meeting and networking with all the newcomers! There was definitely some high energy on that stage tonight! Harry literally blew a 4 inch by one inch hole in his bass amp and you could see bright blue sparks shooting out of the cabinet on voodoo child! I’ll never forget that image of sparks flying out Harry’s amp! The Daves even made an appearance and we did a short set of Peaches en Regalia, Piss Perfect (instrumental version), Escalator Malfunction, and Apostrophe. Doc Schavone brought out his 1954 proto-type TV model Les Paul, and that sucker has the biggest neck I’ve ever choked! So, I just wanted to shout out to all the players that have been supporting the jam and keeping it a thriving living platform to showcase the musical gifts we’ve been blessed with—And a Big Thanks to Smilin’ Dave for setting the whole thing up and letting me play my PeeWee’s Playhouse DVD on the white sheet behind us while we played! I hope to bring different cartoons and such each week- The only requirements is that it’s gotta be visually stimulating because certain videos and movie clips without the sound are bland and lack visual vigor! Anyways, it’s getting late- this is actually a fun way to wind down after the show! I can’t promise I’ll blog after every show the night of the gig, but I will certainly try the following morning if I have enough time! Peace, Goodnight!
